Aakriti · form  +  Dhara · flow

The pureflow.

Cold-pressed oils and spice powders. Pressed slowly, kept unrefined and brought to your kitchen from our manufacturing partners.

The name

Aakriti gives it form. Dhara keeps it flowing.

Aakritidhara is a brand built on one simple idea: honest food starts with honest process. We promote and advertise products made by carefully chosen manufacturing partners, beginning with traditional, wooden-press, cold-pressed oils.

Our job is to bring their craft to more kitchens: telling the story clearly, and keeping the focus on how the product is made.

Aakritidhara is a promotion and marketing brand. Products are made and packed by our partner manufacturers.

Now pouring: Groundnut Oil

From seed to bottle

Slow by design.

Five simple steps, with nothing hidden and nothing added.

  1. Step 01

    Seeds, ready

Seeds and kernels are prepared for pressing. For sunflower, the seeds are de-shelled first, so the oil stays clean and light.

  2. Step 02

    The wooden press

A slow, turning wooden press, the traditional gaana (chekku), crushes the seeds at an unhurried pace.

  3. Step 03

    No heat

Pressing happens at room temperature. No external heat is applied at any point in the extraction.

  4. Step 04

    Cotton-cloth filtration

The freshly pressed oil is filtered through cotton cloth, a simple, chemical-free way to clear it.

  5. Step 05

    Bottled, unrefined

The oil goes into the bottle as it is: unrefined, with no chemicals or solvents added.

In the kitchen

From drizzle to sizzle.

Drizzle.

A thin ribbon of oil meets the pan.

Sizzle.

Ingredients drop in and the kitchen comes alive.

Serve.

Everyday cooking, built on simple, honest oil.

Rendered scene, illustrative.
